James Nantais notes that his company's combination of experience and equipment has allowed Stonescape Contracting Ltd. to successfully complete challenging projects in locations with limited access. "We've been able to do jobs that people don't think we can do," he said.

As a result, Stonescape Contracting has been selected by many local builders to do the hardscaping, paving, retaining walls, and/or finishing stonework for their display homes. In addition, Stonescape has been chosen as a contractor by some of the largest companies in Canada, including PCL, Bird Construction Group, Norson Construction, and IntraWest Properties.

Although the work can be physically and mentally demanding, owner James Nantais said the reward is knowing that what he and his team build will stand for decades - or even centuries. "We take great pride in the work we've produced. For at least 50 years we'll be able to drive by and view it."
