Beautifully fitted pavers can form patios, walkways, driveways, or terraces.

Thirty times stronger than poured concrete, paving stones are both strong and versatile, with an almost unlimited range of colours, textures, shapes and styles available. Paving stones are used to create roadways and driveways, walkways, sidewalks, patios, pool decks and public squares. Since paving stones are laid on a prepared bed of gravel and sand, they have more flexibility than concrete. They will not crack and if they do need to be moved to access underground services, they can be lifted and replaced.

Stonescape Contracting is an ICPI certified installer. The company's work has been featured in architectural magazines, including its installation of one of the first aqua pave driveways in North America. Aqua pave is a new type of paving stone designed as an environmentally friendly option for parking areas and driveways. Accepted for LEED accreditation, the stone is an integrated filtering system. Instead of running off to contaminate the surrounding soil, surface oil and water is drawn into the paving stone, where a layer of microbes breaks up and consumes the oil.

A similar environmentally friendly paving system will be installed by Stonescape for the Oliver Road Recreation Centre.
